After an incredible career spanning decades, the 80’s singer Cyndi Lauper has announced a series of farewell tour dates for later on this year.
The True colours star shared the news on her social media. The “Time After Time” singer will headline 23 cities between October 18 and December 5, according to her Instagram post and Live Nation. She has called it the ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour’.

Cyndi Lauper’s farewell Tour
Her first major tour In over a decade will start at the Belle Centre in Montreal, make its way to Madison Square Garden and eventually end at the United Center in Chicago.
Lauper will also be joined by special guests who will be announced at a later date, Live Nation said in a news release.

Tickets were available starting Tuesday through an artist pre-sale and additional pre-sales will be run through the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning Friday, June 7.

Cyndi Lauper’s show in London
While the farewell tour is taking place across North America, Cyndi will be playing a greatest hits shpw at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Wednesday June 26th.
She is then set to perform at Glastonbury Festival later that weekend – so if you have tickets, make sure you don’t miss the chance to see her play!
Cyndi Lauper’s new documentary
The Royal Albert Hall show is sure to be a special one, as it is also her first UK solo concert in a whopping eight years. There will also her new documentary come out, “Let The Canary Sing.”
“The announcement of her farewell tour arrives alongside “Let The Canary Sing,” a feature-length documentary film that explores Lauper’s extraordinary life and career,” Live Nation stated.

“The documentary will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada on Tuesday, June 4.”
The documentary will also include Lauper’s efforts in allyship and social activism. It was out yesterday June 4 in the United States and Canada.
The release will hit the UK, Australia, Latin America, Brazil, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria today (June 5.)

Lauper will also appear as a guest on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Wednesday to discuss her tour and documentary.
