Donald Trump, the former US president, debuted his shoe line, “Trump Sneakers,” on Saturday at the “Sneaker Con” event in Philadelphia. The unveiling occurred the day after a court in a New York civil fraud case ordered Trump and his business to pay close to $355 million.
Ahead of his 2024 Republican candidacy, Mr. Trump unveiled what he referred to as the “first official Trump footwear” at the occasion. The recently released glossy golden high-top sneakers include an American flag accent. At the Philadelphia Convention Center, there were loud applause and boos in response to the news.
The shoes are called the “Never Surrender High-Top Sneaker” and are $399. They are presently sold out on the GetTrumpSneakers.com website. One thousand pairs of those had been offered for sale, with ten of them at random bearing Trump’s autograph.
What does Trump’s brand say?
The terms “T” and “45” are printed on both sides of two further $199 iterations of the sneakers. Just over the heels was a writing that said, “POTUS 45”. The 45th President of the United States was Donald Trump.
Additionally, the website offers “Victory47” perfume and cologne, which retail for $99 a bottle. It should be mentioned that this moniker has been given since, should he win reelection, Mr. Donald would become the 47th President of the United States.
“GetTrumpSneakers.com is not political and has nothing to do with any political campaign,” is written at the bottom of the official website. In a civil fraud lawsuit, a New York court on Friday ruled that Donald and his Organization must pay a punishment of around $355 million.
According to the 90-page ruling, Trump will not be able to serve as a director of a firm in the state of New York for three years. The judge also banned Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, his sons, from holding director positions for two years. Furthermore, a $4 million fine is mandated for each of them.
