The International Cybersecurity Forum in its third edition will be launched on Wednesday, in Riyadh, It is organized by the National Cybersecurity Authority and, the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE), under the title “Charting Shared Priorities in Cyberspace” according to Saudi Press Agency.
The forum will be participated by an elite group of decision-makers and CEOs from relevant international organizations, in addition to a group of high-level speakers representing various governmental and academic sectors, and the most prominent international companies from more than 120 countries.
The forum includes several specialized knowledge groups that address the latest cyberspace issues in vital sectors including those related to supply chains, smart cities, and the future of cyberspace, with the aim of raising awareness about them and anticipating comprehensive solutions based on the integration of efforts between countries and various entities in the public and private sectors.
The forum will launch several initiatives and projects with an international dimension, and the signing of several local and international agreements that contribute to strengthening aspects of international cooperation to enhance the role of cybersecurity to be an enabling element in facing the challenges of the future and a contributor to Economic and social development industry in the Kingdom and around the world.
Meanwhile, Discussions on the agenda will focus on five strategic topics related to cybersecurity: cyberspace amidst polycrisis, unlocking cyber growth, cyber divides, exploring cyber minds, and emerging cyber horizons.
While these priorities maximize joint work in focusing on vital and strategic issues in cyberspace, the International Cybersecurity Forum Foundation is responsible for activating the ongoing dialogue between various partners, and supporting relevant projects, over the coming months to consolidate the concept of international cooperation.
The forum will highlight the Saudi model in cybersecurity as it has become a successful and pioneering model in the Middle East.
Most Notably, the International Cybersecurity Forum has become a global platform for decision-makers, experts, and specialists related to vital and strategic sector issues, and aims to open broad horizons for transferring knowledge, exchanging experiences, exploring opportunities for cooperation on cybersecurity topics of a strategic dimension, supporting international efforts and unifying joint endeavors in this regard. In addition to stimulating social and economic development in aspects of cybersecurity.
