Chinese official media reported, on Wednesday, that the Chinese President said in a message in response to an old friend from the American state of Iowa that the future and destiny of this planet is for Sino-American relations to be more stable and better.
Relations between the two countries have deteriorated in the past few years due to a trade war and a large number of other issues, including the issue of the origin of the epidemic, but Xi’s talks with US President Joe Biden in San Francisco in November; It improved the status of communications between the two sides; While tension still exists between them over Taiwan, which China claims is part of its territory.
Xi told Sarah Land, whom he met for the first time in May 1985: “China and the United States are the largest developing and developed countries in the world, and their agreement is necessary.”
Last year, according to Sky News Arabia, a poll conducted by the Pew Research Center showed that 83% of participants in the United States had a negative opinion of China.
The American think tank said that when they were asked to name the country that poses the greatest threat to the United States, Americans considered China an economic and national security threat.
