Pedro, in his letter, accused his opposition leaders from conservative People’s party (PP) and Vox Party for sponsoring Manos Limpias for ridiculous advertisement of their personal advocacy.
The union also accused Gomez of using her power and influence as the wife of the prime minister to gather sponsors to help her fund her master’s degree university course. This particular allegation was admitted inaccurate by Manos Limpias commanding, “based upon insufficient data.” This back and forth orchestration of allegations against prime minister’s family , the environment minister, Teresa Ribera, says “had worn him out.”
Maybe it was his exhaustion which had forced him to think about quitting his ministerial position wondering some good it can do to him and his family. But the outlandish support which followed after his shocking announcement reinstated his lost confidence. On Monday, Pedro Sanchez re-adrenalized his disheartened supporters with his long-standing speech, “I have decided, to continue, with even more strength, as the head of the Presidency of the Government of Spain.”
