This is just like another George Floyd incident. The incident that happened with George Floyd, who died in 2020 under the feet of the police for the crime of being black, has been repeated in the Ohio.
Again, the similar sort of backlash is seeping onto social media, though not on streets yet, with many criticising the continued racism that blacks continue to face in the United States.
This follows after the death of a black man due to police brutality again in America’s Ohio.
Frank Tyson, 53, was pinned to the ground by a police officer who held him by the neck. Tyson stopped breathing and was taken to the hospital. He died there.
What exactly happened with Tyson?
The video of Tyson’s death evoked memories of Floy;s death.
This video was obtained from the ‘bodycam’ of a policeman at the scene.
The Incident happened in Ohio, USA, on April 18. Tyson’s car hit a power pole on the day of the incident. He ran away and entered a bar nearby. The police reached there after receiving the information.
The police grumbled as they tried to grab his hand. Amidst the scuffle, Tyson was heard shouting, “They’re going to kill me.” Somebody call the sheriff.’ Two police officers held him down and laid him on the ground. Then one kneed Tyson just below the neck. In the video, Tyson is heard saying, “I can’t breathe… let go of me… get your foot off my neck.” A police officer is heard saying, “It’s okay, calm down.” He stood up after holding on with his knees. Then it can be seen that Tyson is lying frozen on the ground. The police officers asked each other, “Is he alive?” Is he breathing?’’
It was only after 8 minutes after a police officer removed the handcuffs and began giving CPR.
After some time, the medical personnel came to the scene. Tyson was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He died there. The cause of death is yet to be announced. There has been no statement from the Canton Police Department yet.

What happened four years ago?
Four years ago, George Floyd, a young black man, died after being suffocated by police kneeling.
In the gruesome video of his death, Floyd was seen repeatedly saying, “I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe.”
A white police officer, Derek Chauvin, kneed Floyd’s neck. Floyd’s voice trailed off under the pressure of that knee. He died on the spot. Chauvin is now in jail.
The man was heard saying similar words as Tyson – ‘I can’t breathe’ – repeatedly as police forced him to the ground and handcuffed him before he died.
