Taylor Swift is rallying behind Lady Gaga as online speculation around her allegedly being ‘pregnant’ gained momentum this week.
After the ‘Poker Face’ singer shut down pregnancy rumours using lyrics from a song by Swift, the Cruel Summer hit maker threw her weight behind Gaga by commenting on her original post.

How did Lady Gaga shut down the rumours?
On June 4, the 38 year old pop star took to TikTok to dispel those rumours. Gaga shared a photo of her at the gym, with a caption that used lyrics from Swift’s ‘Down Bad’ song from her latest album ‘The Tortured Poet’s Department.’ The photo said, “Not pregnant, just down bad cryin at the gym”.

Also, Gaga uses a voiceover clip in which a person says, “I don’t have to find an aesthetic. I am an aesthetic. I mean, I’m sure there’s somebody out here right now who’s going into Pinterest trying to type all these adjectives to describe me.”
What did Taylor Swift comment on Lady Gaga’s post?
Taylor Swift herself commented on the video, not to reassure Gaga, who seems happy and confident, but to urge everyone to quit picking apart everyone’s appearance.
Commenting under it, Swift said, “Can we all agree that its invasive & irresponsible to comment on a woman’s body.”

“Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation & neither does any woman,” the Taylor added.
Other users took to the comment section to praise Swift and celebrate the megastars’ friendship. Meanwhile, on Instagram, Gaga’s story read, “Not pregnant. REGISTER TO VOTE or check if you’ve already registered.”

When did Lady Gaga’s pregnancy rumour begin?
Rumors about a Gaga pregnancy began circulating after the internet got hold of pictures of the pop star at her sister’s wedding in which she seemed to be covering her stomach. Lady Gaga was spotted at her sister’s wedding on June 1, rumors that she was pregnant began to arise then.
Some fans seemed to notice a ‘baby bump’ in the photos from not just the rehearsal dinner, where Gaga stunned in a black mini dress, but also from the wedding, where Gaga chose to wear a tan, off-the-shoulder gown.

However, it is now clear that Gaga is not expecting a baby anytime soon.
What did Lady Gaga’s makeup artist say?
Sarah Tanno, Gaga’s makeup artist and the creative director of her cosmetics line Haus Labs, also came to the star’s defense, calling out the fans who have speculated multiple times that she’s pregnant based solely on weight fluctuations (which are normal).
Honestly, it’s really sad that she had to address this because people were commenting about her body, people should not be allowed to comment on other people’s body, fans have been saying for years that’s she was pregnant, just because how she looks in certain outfits

“Fans have been saying for years that’s she was pregnant, just because how she looks in certain outfits Why spread a rumor about somebody that you care about or love? It does affect people’s mental health, people should not be body shaming people or assuming they are pregnant when they aren’t!,” wrote Tanno on X.

The singer’s concert film “Chromatica World Tour” recently debuted on HBO. Gaga teased her forthcoming seventh album at the end of the movie.
