Jon Voight, The American actor, and Angelina Jolie’s father, declared his resentment towards his daughter as she stands with Palestinians.
He said that in a video on X declaring his solidarity with Israel and criticized Angelina for her stance against Israel. Voight slammed Hamas’s attack on October 7 as he said:” Israel was attacked by inhuman terror on innocent babies, mothers, fathers, grandparents,” he added: “These animals want to wipe out Jews, Christians.
He posted the video entitled “Truth and Lies” as he claimed that he articulated the facts and criticized his daughter’s support for Palestine. He said that he was disappointed in Angelina’s reaction.
This is about destroying the history of God’s land — the Holy Land — the land of the Jews. This is justice for God’s children of the holy land,” he continued. “The Israeli army must protect thy soil, thy people. This is war. It’s not going to be what the left thinks — it can’t be civil now.”
Voight blamed Hamas for the massacre in Gaza as he said: “recognize that Hamas” was “destroying their own people, not Israel.”
Despite, Voight being a catholic, he felt a responsibility towards antisemitism as he was raised in a Jewish community in New York according to Fox News in 2018.
