The event will be conducted two weeks before The Oscar Ceremony next year, which will be held on March 2, 2025.

Although, BAFTA hasn’t yet hand out the confirmation over the locations of the awards ceremony. This yea,r the ceremony took place at Royal Festival Hall in London, which was held three weeks before the Oscar ceremony, 2024. Films like Oppenheimer, Poor Things, and The Zone Of Interest made the biggest sweeps of the night.
Preparing the ceremony before the Oscar helps the BAFTA maintain its position as one of the most important ceremonies between the award season and warn of Academy Award wins. Like this year’s ceremony correctly foreshadowed Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer Oscar sweep, while snubs were maintained for Martin Scorsese’s The Killers of the Flower Moon and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.
As we know Scorsese’s western drama failed to get any BAFTA and Oscars this year but on the other hand Barbie, a much praised film of 2023, received only one Oscar, for the Best Original Song Award for “What Was I Made For?” by Billie Eilish and FINNEAS.
