Kylian Mbappe made a big history in the Paris league. He scored a total of 255 goals for PSG in league history. PSG beat Lorient 4-1 in the Paris League with two goals from Mbappe. Previously, PSG’s Roger Cagliari held the record for the highest goal in the Paris League. Mbappe broke that precedent.

Goals and highlights of the match

Apart from Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele scored twice for PSG in the away match of the league. He scored two goals in 19th and 60th minutes of the match. On the other hand, Mbappe’s two goals were in 22nd and 90th minutes. However, the way Mbappe scored with Dembele in this match, the world football was surprised. How much ability and skill can be used to destroy the opponent in this way.

OUSMANE DEMBELE and KYLIAN MBAPPE Celebration after goal

“We had a good game, we were serious, we deserve the three points,” Dembele told. “Now we must finish the job to be champions as quickly as possible.”

OUSMANE DEMBELE

The France captain’s strikes made him the first French player to reach the 25-goal mark in four consecutive seasons in one of Europe’s top five leagues. Lorient’s consolation came as Bamba Dieng headed in Benjamin Mendy’s pinpoint cross midway through the second half.

PSG could have finished the day with the title assured, but Monaco’s win in the later fixture delayed their celebrations. They can instead win Ligue 1 for a 12th time on Saturday, in front of their home fans against Le Havre.

Missing players in the match

PSG got a big win in this match without some key players of the team. In-form Bradley Barkola, Marquinhos, Ashraf Hakimi were not in the team. Not even Vitinha and Warren Zairey-Emery.

Coach Luis Enrique rested his stars ahead of the Champions League semi-final first leg against Borussia Dortmund. Incidentally, PSG is at the top of the list with 69 points in 30 matches.

Player of the match

Kylian Mbappé won the honour of the player of the match. The Frenchman gave Adjei a torrid time down the left flank, completing four of his six dribbles and making four key passes, including the assist for Dembele’s second. His two goals mean it’s now 26 in the league this season.
