Anton (Russian Drug Dealer) visits Aarya and there is her 8-year-old son. Aarya owes 300 cores to the Russians. Anton said in Russian, “Family is my strength and my weakness.”
A good thing about a series is the length. Every character gets an ample amount of time to justify their worth. It isn’t possible in the 150-minute-long feature film. The series focuses on various characters, delving deep into their psyche. ACP Khan belongs to a religious and sexual minority. His dedication to work is his coping mechanism of what society thinks about him. The pressure he feels, when his partner in Delhi, regular pings him to get an update about their marriage. Khan isn’t sure how life will pan out.
Adi Sareen, (Aarya Son) is a 8 year old with a psychotic trauma. He saw his father been shot and dead in front of him. When a security guard, offers him to shoot a gun. The 10 year old isn’t afraid of the bullets. In a scene, Adi confronts Daulaat, the killer of his father with a gun. In sure shot way, revenge is the ultimate option.
Aarya has its ups and downs throughout the nine episodes. The journey from running away from her reality to accepting her fate. Aarya portrays a face a strong modern day independent women, only to protect her family.
